Luxury shopping in Korea
Shinsegae Gangnam, and everything at that level
Seoul is one of the best cities in Asia for luxury shopping, and most of it sits in a few streets south of the river. These are the places our guests ask for. There are no tourist shopping-centre stops on our programmes; we shop only where, and when, you want to.

Gangnam and Apgujeong
The department stores Seoul's own shoppers rate highest, all within fifteen minutes of each other by car.
- Shinsegae Gangnam
- Korea's highest-grossing department store, above the Express Bus Terminal: luxury halls, watches and jewellery, and one of the city's best food halls.
- Galleria Luxury Hall East and West
- Two luxury halls facing each other on Apgujeong Rodeo; the West hall's facade of glass discs is lit at night.
- Hyundai Department Store, Apgujeong
- The Hyundai main store, a short walk from the Galleria.

Cheongdam and Dosan
The flagship street, where the great houses build their own buildings and keep gallery floors above the shop.
- Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul
- Frank Gehry's glass sails, with the Espace Louis Vuitton gallery at the top.
- House of Dior
- Christian de Portzamparc's white, flowing facade on Cheongdam.
- Hermès Maison Dosan Park
- The house's Seoul home beside Dosan Park, with the Atelier Hermès exhibition space below.
- Sulwhasoo flagship
- The Korean luxury skincare house on Dosan-daero, with spa rooms upstairs.

Jamsil and Yeouido
The two grandest stores in the city, for a day when the weather keeps you indoors.
- Avenuel, Lotte World Tower
- Luxury houses at the foot of Korea's tallest building, with Seoul Sky at the top.
- The Hyundai Seoul
- Seoul's largest department store, built around an indoor garden under a glass roof.

Myeongdong, Hannam and duty free
The oldest store in the country, the neighbourhood of Korea's own designers, and duty-free shopping collected at the airport.
- Shinsegae main store, Myeongdong
- Korea's oldest department store building, from 1930, with its luxury floors behind the stone facade.
- Hannam-dong
- Korean fashion, ceramics, fragrance and furniture labels on the hill, and the Leeum Museum of Art.
- Shilla and Lotte Duty Free
- Shop duty-free in the city with your passport and collect your purchases at the airport when you leave.

Busan and Jeju
For guests travelling city by city: shopping that ends at the sea.
- Shinsegae Centum City, Busan
- Listed by Guinness World Records as the world's largest department store when it opened, with a hot-spring spa inside.
- Haeundae, Busan
- Ten minutes from Centum City: the beach, the coast park and the best seafood tables in the city.
- Duty free on Jeju
- Shilla and Lotte both have duty-free stores on the island; buy there and collect at departure.
